This is the literal meaning but what it also implies asking all of us to concentrate on Gnana Ganga, the knowledge given by Bhagavad Gita which is given by Lord Krishna, the Murari! Let us all chant Govinda and worship him to bless us to learn, understand and apply the sacred Gita in our lives!

5 The tub contained a solution of dye.
RELEVANCE TO THE SLOKA: An interesting anecdote of Sri Ramakrishna aptly describes this the Gita thus: A certain man had a tub. People would come to him to have their clothes dyed. The tub contained a solution of dye. Whatever color a man wanted for his cloth, he would get by dipping the cloth in the tub. One man was amazed to see this and said to the dyer, ‘Please give me the dye you have in your tub. The multi-faceted quality of the dye, which has several colors in it, is similar to that of the Gita. This, however, has to be properly employed In coloring or recoloring our life and personality with spiritual orientation and conviction. As someone said, ‘It is not the question of memorizing the Gita but internalizing the truths it contains.

6 RELEVANCE TO THE SLOKA:
Normally, when a ship enters the harbour, it is not allowed to sail on her own but a tug-boat must go out and pilot the guest-ship in. The ship that seeks the harbour must have the patience to stand out, constantly sending radio-messages to the harbour at hand must thereafter call out for help (keertanam), wait till the ‘pilot-ship -tug-boat’ arrives (guru), This ‘piloting-in ’is accomplished in spirituality by the worship of Muraari. RELEVANCE Until the ego ‘mura’ is annihilated, there is no scope of entering the Harbour of Truth, the glorious state of immaculate peace. The body-consciousness and the ego-sense, arising out of a false identification with the matter, can be rubbed off only by devoted worship and prayer at the altar of the very Destroyer of Ego, ‘Muraari.’ Pl Note: gurus will explain this in a very simple way can be by a Group Activity Role Play
