2. INSPIRE: Integrating Safety Promotion with HIV Risk Reduction
Goal: integrate violence support within HIV outreach to address trauma-related barriers to HIV prevention
Develop a brief, trauma-informed intervention through community-based participatory process
Pilot intervention for feasibility, acceptability and impact
Brief, semi-structured dialogue implemented by trained advocates via a mobile support van in Baltimore, MD
Evaluated via quasi-experimental, single group pretest-posttest design (baseline n=60; n=39 at week follow-up)
