2 Exhibitions The Metropolitan Museum of Art features exhibitions on a monthly basis. Since they are only open for a limited time, it attracts more people. There are various types of exhibitions to be found in the Museum. 3 Collections This Museum has many collections that range from thousands of different artworks throughout time The Met’s collection ranges from sculptures to paintings, clothing to medieval armor, and even wall inscriptions They have a featured section from their own storage, showcasing art from the likes of Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, and more Ancient sculptures, tablets, and instruments can be found within the walls of the museum

Overall, this was a fun museum to look at. It was interesting seeing the huge variety of artworks they had on display and put away. My favorite piece is probably The Angel of the Annunciation featured in the last slide. It showcases exceptional skill in architecture and drawing structures. It compelled me with it’s symmetry and the pure attention to detail that the artist gave to every single part of the work. It’s also very inspiring to look at as a religious piece. The Metropolitan Museum of Art seems like an interesting place to go one day, since they have over 400,000 different artworks within their collection.
