And God made Adam in his image. In the image of God he made him. And he made them as male and female. And God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply ” (Gen 1:27-28a).

Knowing that the Law was not appointed for the righteous, but for the lawless and disorderly, for the impious and sinners, for the unholy and defiled, for those who kill fathers and mothers, for murderers, for immoral persons, for men-bedders*, for kidnappers*, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is anything else opposed to sound teaching according to the Gospel of the glory of the blessed God (1 Tim 1:9-11a).

Therefore God gave them up in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among them, such ones who exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever, amen! (Rom 1:24-25).

For this reason, God gave them up to dishonorable passions, for their women exchanged the natural function for the one contrary to nature. And the men, abandoning the natural function of the woman, burned in their desire for one another, men with men doing what is unseemly, and receiving the recompense of their error in themselves (Rom 1:26-27).
