2 What’s the Point? Mission tends to be a program that a handful of people in the church care about. Mission involvement needs to be broadened to include the WHOLE congregation Educating our congregations about mission is for the sake of God’s mission in the world!

PRAYER! Introduce mission concepts to existing education or discipleship efforts Quality communication that demonstrates the passion and value of getting involved in mission Short-term mission trips Recruit Be creative

Two-purpose Trips Support the work on the mission field Grow in our faith and understanding of God’s mission! Plan trips well Prepare teams adequately De-brief the experience, making an effort to integrate the mission experience into life at home. For local short-term mission support
