5. فقال لهم شمشون لأحاجينكم أحجية فإذا حللتموها لي في سبعة أيام الوليمة وأصبتموها أعطيكم ثلاثين قميصا و ثلاثين حلة ثياب. وإن لم تقدروا أن تحلوها لي تعطوني أنتم ثلاثين قميصا وثلاثين حلة ثياب فقالوا له حاج أحجيتك فنسمعها. فقال لهم من الآكل خرج أكل ومن الجافي خرجت حلاوة فلم يستطيعوا أن يحلوا الأحجية في ثلاثة أيام. وكان في اليوم السابع إنهم قالوا لإمرأة شمشون تملقي رجلك لكي يظهر لنا الأحجية لئلا نحرقك وبيت أبيك بنار التسلبونا دعوتمونا أم لا.
Then Samson said to them, "Let me pose a riddle to you. If you can correctly solve and explain it to me within the seven days of the feast, then I will give you thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing. "But if you cannot explain [it] to me, then you shall give me thirty linen garments and thirty changes of clothing" And they said to him, "Pose your riddle, that we may hear it". So he said to them: "Out of the eater came something to eat, And out of the strong came something sweet" Now for three days they could not explain the riddle. But it came to pass on the seventh day that they said to Samson's wife, "Entice your husband, that he may explain the riddle to us, or else we will burn you and your father's house with fire. Have you invited us in order to take what is ours? [Is that] not [so?"].

6. فبكت إمرأة شمشون لديه وقالت أما كرهتني ولا تحبني قد حاجيت بني شعبي أحجية وإياي لم تخبر فقال لها هوذا أبي و أمي لما أخبرهما فهل إياك أخبر. فبكت لديه السبعة الأيام التي فيها كانت لهم الوليمة وكان في اليوم السابع إنه أخبرها لأنها ضايقته فأظهرت الأحجية لبني شعبها. فقال له رجال المدينة في اليوم السابع قبل غروب الشمس أي شيء أحلى من العسل وما أجفى من الأسد فقال لهم لو لم تحرثوا على عجلتي لما وجدتم أحجيتي. وحل عليه روح الرب فنزل إلى أشقلون وقتل منهم ثلاثين رجلا وأخذ سلبهم وأعطى الحلل لمظهري الأحجية وحمي غضبه و صعد إلى بيت أبيه. (قض 14 : )
Then Samson's wife wept on him, and said, "You only hate me! You do not love me! You have posed a riddle to the sons of my people, but you have not explained [it] to me" And he said to her, "Look, I have not explained [it] to my father or my mother; so should I explain [it] to you?". Now she had wept on him the seven days while their feast lasted. And it happened on the seventh day that he told her, because she pressed him so much. Then she explained the riddle to the sons of her people. So the men of the city said to him on the seventh day before the sun went down: "What [is] sweeter than honey? And what [is] stronger than a lion?" And he said to them: "If you had not plowed with my heifer, You would not have solved my riddle!". Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men, took their apparel, and gave the changes [of clothing] to those who had explained the riddle. So his anger was aroused, and he went back up to his father's house.(Judges 14 : )

7. كانت لديه قوة جسدية ولكن ضعف أخلاقي

8. شمشون كان يعرف إنه يقترب من النار ولكنه إعتبر الإغراء مجرد لعبة

He knew he was close to the fire and may get burned but he dealt with the temptation as if it was a game
We do the same thing
نحن أيضا نقوم بعمل نفس الشىء
I will have pleasure just this one time
أنا سأمتع نفسي هذه المره فقط
What’s one time going to hurt, anyway?
مره واحده لن تضرني في شئ
معلش، مفيهاش حاجه، أنا هأقلق المره دي وبس .... هأكتئب المره دي وبس
Just this one time I am going to worry … or get depressed
Just this one time I am going to try this or that
أنا عاوز أجرب ولو مره واحده

9. إحنا مش بنخطط إننا نفشل لكننا بطبيعتنا بنضعف أكتر فأكتر كل شويه
None of us plan to be a failure -
it just comes on us naturally and gradually
I have no control over myself
مش عارف أتحكم في نفسي
That’s just the way I am
أنا كده ...

10. ربنا بيقولنا: أنا هأديك القوة لتتحرر من دائرة الفشل
God says: “ I will give you the power
to break out of that cycle of failure
ربنا أخرج شمشون من دائرة الفشل
God broke Samson’s cycle of failure
ربنا أعطاه قوة لعمل ما يجب عليه عمله
God gave him the power to do what he should do
ربنا أعطاه النصره
God gave him Victory

نحن نجلب لأنفسنا المشاكل حينما نسيء إختيار أصدقائنا
We are asking for trouble
if we choose the wrong friends
You will eventually become like them
مع الوقت ستصبح مثلهم

12. Do your friends tear you down or do they build you up!?
يا ترى أصدقائك بيعطلوك عن ربنا!؟
Are your friends keeping you from living 100%
with God!?
يا ترى أصدقائك بيساعدوك على النمو ولا بيضعفوك أكتر!؟
Do your friends tear you down

يا ترى أصدقائك بيخرجوا أفضل ما فيك وبيساعدوك وبيشجعوك علشان تبقى إنسان أفضل!؟
Do your friends bring the best in you, lift you up, and encourage you to be a better person!?

نحن نجلب لأنفسنا المشاكل حينما نرفض جدية التعامل مع الله
We are asking for trouble
when we refuse to take God seriously

14. شمشون كان يعيش لنفسه فقط
Samson lived for himself (selfishness)
شمشون ترك رغباته وشهواته تتحكم فيه وفي أفعاله
Samson let his personal desires dictate his actions
شمشون أهمل في تنفيذ غرض ربنا من وجوده
Samson didn’t do a useful action
with his being a judge for 20 years
شمشون لم يصلي أو يطلب معونة ربنا إلا في النهايه (وقت الورطه)
Samson never prayed about anything except before his final act

15. He lost his freedom and became a slave to the people he once conquered
شمشون حصد ما زرعه Samson reaped what he sowe
He lost his potentials in life
شمشون فقد قوته وإمكانياته
شمشون فقد حريته وأصبح عبد لمن كان يحكمهم من قبل
He lost his freedom and became a slave to the people he once conquered

16. وإبتدأ شعر رأسه ينبت بعد أن حلق (قض 16 : 22)

However, the hair of his head began to grow again
after it had been shaven (Jdg 16 : 22)
شعر شمشون كان مجرد رمز للقوة وليس مصدرها
Samson’s hair was just an outward symbol; not the source of his strength but the sign of his strength.

17. ربنا لا ييأس منا أبدا God never gives up on us
The process of renewal was strong
مظاهر التغيير كانت قوية
تاب Repented
صلي
Prayed
طلب معونة ربنا
Looked to God for Strength

18. شمشون حياته كلها كانت ملخبطه لكنه عنما سلمها لربنا،
لو إنت شاعر إنك أفسدت حياتك لدرجة إن ربنا لم يعد يحبك ولن يستخدمك بعد ذلك، تذكر شمشون
If you feel that you have messed up your life so badly that God will never love you and use you again, remember Samson
شمشون حياته كلها كانت ملخبطه لكنه عنما سلمها لربنا،
ربنا أعطاه القوة
He was a total failure person but when he turned his life over to the Lord, God gave him the power
