3. Task 1
Launch NOTION 3 programme
Select NEW SCORE

4. Select BRASS from the right hand menu, and TRUMPET

5. Click on this icon to activate the trumpet part

6. Use Ctrl+= to zoom in
Click on TITLE and replace it with TV THEME
Click on COMPOSER and replace it with your name

7. You are now ready to place notes onto the stave
Using the notes form this box, select and place on the correct line or space of your stave, following the Score you have in front of you.

8. If you place the note on the wrong line or space, you can select it and move it up or down using the arrows on the computer

9. To create the a dot after the note, select the note head then the dot

10. This rhythm is tricky, it is made up of these 4 notes:

11. You will notice that there is a TIE between notes 2 and 3
You will notice that there is a TIE between notes 2 and 3. You get this by selecting note 2 then in the note box below, clicking on the tie icon.
