5 Group Work In small groups discuss the following:
What are some things that you as girls/women feel pressured to: Be Have Look Like Divide the class into small groups. Give the students 5-10min to discuss amongst themselves. Have willing students share there lists – Have a class discussion based on their responses. After each video write down one word to describe how the video made you feel or what you thought about while it played.

8 Video Reflections How did the videos make you feel?
How do you feel about the pressures and demands on girls/women? What can we do to elevate the pressures felt? Have a class discussion about the videos, how they made them feel. Have them discuss and come up with some solutions about what can be done about this for them and for future young girls.

13 Critic to Champion Turn these critic statements into champion statements: I wish I could look like the girls on TV. I never do well on my math tests. I want to be a ____ when I grow up, but I’m not smart enough. As a large group, turn these inner critic statements into inner champion statements. If time remaining have the students offer a few suggestions of there own.
