Opened April Equitable Access to Primary Care Providing Primary Care 8am – 8pm 365 days a year Walk in and registered patients April Contract varied , so no longer had registered patients so Contract could stay with Wiltshire CCG April Contract extended August 2016 Contract varied to provide weekday primary care pm and weekends and Bank Holidays unchanged 8am-8pm Salisbury Walk in Health Centre - History

3 Current Service at SWiHC
Open 7 days a week Monday- Friday 6.30pm to 10pm Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays 8am – 8pm 365 days a year Two clinicians , either two GPs or a GP and a Nurse Practitioner

Very few, less than 4% The most frequent is for an X-ray or scan If hospital referral is needed, the patient is usually direct to the specialty required rather than A&E Analysis of last 10 referrals Three for chest pain ? Heart attack Three children with respiratory problems Two for continuing nose bleeds One for possible pancreatitis One wound needing extensive suturing SWiHC How many patients do we refer ?
