3 INTRODUCTION Human brain- most valuable creation of God.
The man is called intelligent. “BLUE BRAIN”- The name of the world’s first virtual brain. A machine that can function as human brain. INTRODUCTION

4 Virtual Brain i.e. an artificial brain
It can think like brain, take decisions based on the past experience, and respond as a natural brain. It Is a simple chip that can be installed into the human brain.

5 Is it really possible to create a human brain?
“YES“.

6 The IBM is now developing a virtual brain known as the
BLUE BRAIN. Within 30 years, we will be able to scan ourselves into the computers.

7 VIRTUAL BRAIN A machine that can function as brain .
It can take decision. It can think. It can response. It can keep things in memory. It also has feelings and emotions. VIRTUAL BRAIN

8 NEED of VIRTUAL BRAIN To upload contents of the natural brain into it.
To keep the intelligence , knowledge and skill of any person for ever. To remember things without any effort . NEED of VIRTUAL BRAIN

9 virtual BRAIN SIMULATION
INPUT Through the silicon chip or artificial neurons . INTERPRETATION By a set of bits in the set of register . PROCESSING Through arithmetic and logical calculation and artificial intelligence. MEMORY Through Secondary memory. OUTPUT Through the silicon chip. virtual BRAIN SIMULATION

10 By modeling the electrical structure of neural circuits repeated throughout the brain and then map and model their behavior. Once complete, they will move onto creating a molecular model of the neurons involved and a complete neocortex (the largest and most complex part of the human brain) before modelling the rest of the brain. STEPS INVOLVED

11 Neocortex column modeling
Neocortex is a part of the brain thought to be responsible for higher functions such as conscious thought. In humans, each column is about 2 mm in length, has a diameter of 0.5 mm and contains about 60,000 neurons. Neocortex column modeling

12 MODEL

13 The project is funded primarily by the Swiss government and the Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) Flagship grant from the European Commission  and secondarily by grants and some donations from private individuals. Funding

14 Now there is no question how the virtual brain will work
Now there is no question how the virtual brain will work. But the question is how the human brain will be up loaded into it. “There is more we do NOT know about the brain, than what we do know about the brain“.

15 The uploading is possible by the use of small robots known as the nanobots, are small enough to travel through out our circulatory system. Traveling into the spine and brain, they will be able to monitor the activity and structure of our central nervous system. They will be able to provide an interface with computer while we still reside in our biological form . UPLOADING HUMAN BRAIN

16 Nanobots could also carefully scan the structure of our brain, providing a complete readout of the connection. This information, when entered into a computer, could then continue to function as us. Thus the data stored in the entire brain will be uploaded into the computer.

17 IBM, in partnership with scientists at Brain and Mind Institute in Switzerland. It will begin simulating the brain’s biological systems. Scientific curiosity about consciousness and the human mind. RESEARCH WORK

18 ADVANTAGES Remembering things without any effort.
Making decision without the presence of a person. Using intelligence of a person after the death . Understanding the activities of animals . Allowing the deaf to hear via direct nerve stimulation. ADVANTAGES

19 DISADVANTAGES We become dependent upon the computer .
Others may use technical knowledge against us. DISADVANTAGES

20 HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIRMENT
56 TFLOPS peak processing speed. 8,096 CPUs at 700 MHz (downgraded to handle massive parallel processing). 100 kilowatts power consumption. very powerful Nanobots to act as the interface between the natural brain and the computer. HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIRMENT

21 We will be able to transfer ourselves into computers at some point.
Very soon this technology will be highly accepted whole over the world. CONCLUSION
