2. Dictionary
A Dictionary contains an alphabetical list of words with their meanings and their pronunciations.

3. Thesaurus A thesaurus is a book containing the synonyms of words.
When you look up a word in the thesaurus, you will find a list of words with similar meanings.
Some thesauruses also list words with the opposite meaning.

4. Encyclopedias
A set of reference books containing brief articles on a wide range of subjects
It is a good place to get a quick overview of a subject
Be sure information is not out-of-date

5. Atlas
a book of maps

6. Almanac
An Annual (yearly) publication that gives information on things like:
Weather forecasts
Tide tables, Astronomy
Statistics
Historical events
Countries of the world
Winners of sports events
Pulitzer Prize, Academy Awards, etc.
