2 What is “Try you Luck?” Retrieval System that allows the user to view the winning lottery numbers from a cell phone Non cell phone users can view the winning lottery numbers from the website

5 Website User will type in a URL address on the cell phone that will direct them to the website to retrieve winning numbers Site will be running 24 hours a day, seven days a week User will be able to retrieve the winning numbers from the website

6 Website (cont). The website will have a calculator to project how much money you would win if you opted for the one lump sum payment or the 30 year plan Contact us for help or any questions user may have about the site

10 Requirements for the Web
Customers must easily navigate through the website A copy of the Web site will also be maintained on a backup server

11 Requirements (cont.) The winning numbers that the customer will see should be in the proper format. For Lotto Field there would be 6 numbers together separated by (-) ranges from for example ( ). For Little Lotto Field there would be 5 numbers together separated by (-) ranges from for example ( ).

12 Testing of the Web The tester will type the correct URL in the browser 24 times during each hour of the day to see if the website is up and running. 10 people will visit the website and rate it with the rating scale of 1-10 with 1 the lowest and 10 the highest.

13 Testing of the Web (cont).
The tester will select each month from the drop down menu to find out that if the winning numbers for that specific month are coming up. The tester will click on the contact us link on the main web page and must be able to see the address, telephone number and the address of the company.

14 Requirements for the Admin functions
Only the Administrator will be able to login into the Administrative Section with a given URL. The username and password will be supplied to the Admin.

15 Requirements for the Admin function cont.
The Administrator will update the winning number 2-3 minutes after the draw so that the website has the updated information with the 2-3 minute difference from the real draw. The Administrator will delete winning numbers that are 365 days old

16 Testing for the Admin functions
The Internet Browser can take the Administrator to the URL of the login page of the Administrative Section of the Website after typing the correct URL. User Id text box appears correctly Password text box appears correctly Login Button appears correctly

The tester must be able to add the winning numbers. So he’ll add a winning number to the database.

18 Requirements for the Wireless Part of the Application
Customers must easily read and navigate the application through their cell phones The date entered must be in (mmddyy) format. ASP.NET embedded with WML will be used to view the data through the cell phone browsers.

19 Requirements for the Wireless Part of the Application (cont).
If user enters a date that is not valid for lotto or little lotto the user will receive an Invalid Date reply. Data retrieved will not be greater than 2 screens to reduce the need for scrolling on the WAP phone

20 Test for the Wireless Part
The Tester will use Cell Phone browser and type the correct URL of the application The Tester will enter the “aabbcc” to the date to see if it that input can be accepted then the tester would enter 10 dates to obtain the winning numbers.

21 Test for the wireless part (cont).
The tester will review the code of the files used for the wireless application development. The Tester will try to find a way to reach the database through the cellular phone

22 Future enhancements User will be able to retrieve all lottery games, including Pick 3 and Pick 4 on cell phone A newsletter with past big jackpot lottery winners, new games, and games that will be discontinued
