1 Corinthians 2:2 – “For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.” 1 Corinthians 15:3 – “For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,”

3 Jesus’ Burial and Resurrection:
The Gospel Completed The Rest of the Story: 1 Cor. 15:4-5 – “and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.” The Key to Our Hope: 1 Cor. 15:13-14 – “But if there is no resurrection of the dead, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is vain, your faith also is vain.”

15 A Probable Chronology John sees linen cloth laying in tomb from outside Peter gets to tomb and goes inside, seeing the cloth wrappings and face cloth rolled up John enters tomb, sees, and “believes” MM arrives back at tomb; Peter & John gone Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene First saw only the angels, then Jesus Only recognized when He spoke her name She clings to him, but sent to tell others

On way from tomb without Mary M. Mark 16:9 says Jesus appeared 1st to M.M. Women report good news to disciples Roman guards report to Jewish leaders Make up story that they fell asleep on duty Disciples opened tomb and stole body All this while asleep, but knew what happened
