2. UCAS (www.ucas.com) Portal used for sending off applications
7 sections that need to be filled in
Personal Details (date of birth, nationality, name, residence…)
Education (history of education, which schools has the person attended with which qualification)
Employment (where has the person worked)
Choices (max. 5 university choices, which course – ext. Business and Entrepreneurship)
Personal Statement (the most significant feature, the applicant describes why he is interested in that course, what has he done so far in connection to it, what his hobbies are, the applicant has to present himself as good as possible to impress, never lie!)
Reference (a recommendation letter from one of the teachers)
Student Finance (information on the financing of the course – 3-year course: £)

4. TRACK portal (tracking the application)
After filling in all the section, the application is ready to be sent off
The price for multiple (more than 1 choice) application is 23£
The applicant receives a UCAS ID number for the TRACK portal
TRACK portal is used for checking the application and waiting for the answers from universities
There are 3 possible answers:
Unconditional offer (no further requirements)
Conditional offer (requirements need to be met: MATURITA grade overall 3, IELTS (international English language testing system, exam): overall 6 (maximum is 9)
No offer (your application was declined)

6. Meeting the conditions
When the applicant meets the conditions, he needs to send the results to the university
Usually, there needs to be a verified translation of the documents enclosed
The university will confirm the results and confirm your place at the university

7. Preparing for a new life
In summer, the applicant books his place at one of the accommodation halls
If the person needs a loan for university fees, the UK government offers a loan for European students, all that needs to be done is an application that has to be sent to UK via post with a passport
All that‘s left to do is prepare yourself for an entirely new way of life and meeting new people!
