1 Create a Public Holiday Calendar
Countries with Multiple Locations with Different Public Holidays Calendars

2 Enter Create Holiday Calendar into the search field.
Select the correct option.

3 Enter the Title for the calendar “Holidays for Country (Location)”
Select “Create Holiday /Work Schedule Calendar Rule”. Click OK.

4 Confirmation Page. Click OK.

5 If there is an existing Public Holiday Calendar search and select it.
If no calendar already exists, leave this cell black.

6 Ensure the rules captured below are populated.
It is critical Location Address – Country is populated. This tell Workday which Country the calendar applies to.

7 Location must also be recorded.

8 Enter the office location that the Public Holiday Calendar applies to.

9 Fully populated the screen will look like this.
Click OK.

10 The Calendar is now available to be populated.
Click OK

11 Click on the Navigation button next to the title of the Calendar you have just created.
Move to Calendar, Add Calendar Event. If you don’t want to populate the dates, Click Done.

12 Populate the Name of the Public Holiday.
Add in the Start Date, pressing tab auto-populates the End Date. Click OK.

13 To enter more dates, click on the Navigation button next to the Calendar name and repeat the steps.
If you have entered all the Public Holiday dates, click on the Calendar name.

14 Every date you have entered will appear in the list.

15 The list can be extracted into Excel by clicking the icon.
Click Open for the file to transfer into Excel.

16 The report can now be saved.
