Read the books inside your Book Buddy Bag & complete the reading log by Friday.
Inside your child’s green folder is their behavior chart, please make sure to sign it each night.
Inside your child’s green folder is a copy of their sight words for the entire year. We are working on List 1 now. If your child has already mastered that list please move on the next list of words. Thank you!
Reading: We will be focusing on vowels this week. We will also be working on adjectives, verb tenses (past, present and future), and punctuation (., ?, !).
Math: We will be adding to 20. We will be learning different strategies for adding more than 2 numbers at a time. We will also be working on doubles (2+2, 4+4. etc.).
Spelling Words: like, see, I, go it
*After Fall Break we will be having 10 words on our spelling tests with a bonus word
Writing: We are working on a Personal Narrative
Sept.20th- High Attendance Day (We will have a disco dance party at school!)
Sept. 26th- Johnny Appleseed Day (wear red or dress like Johnny Appleseed)
Sept. 28th – Family Learning Night 5:00 p.m. -6:30 p.m. The theme is Science!
Oct. 3rd - Fall Picture Retakes
Oct. 6th – Fall Picture Money is due
Oct. 9th-13th – Fall Break (NO SCHOOL)
Oct. 20th- Storybook Pumpkin Contest
