clarifications Social Darwinism- The fittest survive socially as animals do in the wild. Therefore the wealthiest and most powerful are the fittest humans and their genes will carry on while the less fit genes of the poor and unsuccessful will die out naturally. Eugenics- Fake Scientific trend used weird methods to measure physical differences between people of different races. Used to uphold and maintain racism, white supremacy, poor treatment of certain immigrant groups, and imperialism.

More directions Have students pass up their HW
Have students go to the GERTZ-RESSLER High school website and ask them to complete their do now and examine the agenda for today. Students watch Crash Course US history # 30 US enters in to WWI on their own/ in pairs and take down 15 facts of notes. Pass out- Sedition in WW1 DBQ Docs, Questions, and the Graphic Organizer that goes with it. Pass out- Treaty of Versaille DBQ Docs and Graphic organizer. ***All things in yellow are due at the end of the period.
