2 TWITTERATURE You will be shown a passage from a famous book
In pairs, you have 5 minutes to discuss and rewrite/summarise these passages in 140 characters or under After 5 minutes, hold up your whiteboard

3 Then one afternoon, walking back home with the icy wind in his face (and incidentally feeling hungrier than he had ever felt before), his eye was caught suddenly by something silvery lying in the gutter, in the snow. Charlie stepped off the kerb and bent down to examine it. Part of it was buried under the snow, but he saw at once what it was.

4 Peeves was the school poltergeist, a grinning, airborne menace who lived to cause havoc and distress. Harry didn't much like Peeves, but couldn't help feeling grateful for his timing. Hopefully, whatever Peeves had done (and it sounded as though he'd wrecked something very big this time) would distract Filch from Harry. 

5 Peter Van Houten replied to Augustus’s four hours after he sent it, but two days later, Van Houten still hadn’t replied to me. Augustus assured me it was because my was better and required a more thoughtful response, that Van Houten was busy writing answers to my questions, and that brilliant prose took time. But still I worried.
