1 Weekly Objectives Students will critique and analyze a literary work.
Student will understand and construct complex sentences. Students will understand unit’s theme, The Dark Side of Individualism. Students will utilize reading strategies to help them monitor their comprehension. Students will understand and appreciate a classic narrative poem. Students will understand and draw conclusions about the speaker in a poem. Students will write for a variety of purposes and audiences using the standard English conventions of grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
