5 What is Last year our event’s Theme was: From little things, big things grow. This year our theme is ‘Sustainable Action’- the nature of action, how to create and sustain change through action Tosca Killoran and Jeff Hoffart are the organizers of this event The event will be hosted at BIS Students, teachers and potential off campus guests will be invited to speak on topics that address the theme

6 What to Expect A suite of short, carefully prepared talks, featuring students and teachers from BIS, as well as performances of music and art, all oriented towards youth. A minimum of two pre-recorded talks from the acclaimed TEDTalks video series are also required at the event. In addition, we envision a space with students’ and teachers’ artwork that represent the theme in order to provide a space to foster learning, inspiration and wonder -- and, of course, to provoke conversations that matter.
