Je vais vous faire une présentation sur mon sujet de thèse, qui s’intitule « Inversion des spectres infrarouges enregistrés par l’instrument SOIR à bord de la sonde Venus Express ».

2. Reminders When studying the SOIR spectra, remember Order addition
Influence of the AOTF function
Correct the pixel-wavenumber calibration given in the archive (sometimes wrong!)
Bins and binning principles
Tilting angle of the slit

3. Rotational temperature
The shape of the bands are function of temperature and AOTF function
 precision on temperature is subject on the good knowledge of the AOTF function shape!!
 induces larger error bars (around 20 K)

Raw data, only corrected for detector non-linearity

If you intend to publish with our data, we would be grateful to be informed, as we spent enormous time calibrating and characterizing the instrument, but also on preparing this workshop.
Before publishing, it is important, but not mandatory, to contact the SOIR team
Anyway, it is important to acknowledge the PSA and the SOIR team
The keywords SPICAV/SOIR and Venus Express or VEX have to be mentioned either in the title or the abstract (or both)
We have (almost) no way to compare our results with independent studies:
