2 TYPES OF LANDSCAPES MAN-MADE LANDSCAPES
They are made by humans and have got man-made elements like crop fields, reservoirs, houses, power line…. NATURAL LANDSCAPES They are made by nature and have got natural elements.

3 We can distinguish two types of man-made landcapes:
Rural landscapes: Have lots of natural elements. A village has a rural landscape. Urban landscapes: Have lots of artificial elements. A big city has an urban landscape.

4 TYPES OF CHANGES IN LANDSCAPES
Natural changes Man-made changes Harmful changes

5 NATURAL CHANGES FAST CHANGES
When it snows in winter or there is a drought in summer SLOW CHANGES They are caused by the wind or water flows

6 MAN-MADE CHANGES They are caused by humans when they build houses, roads…

7 HARMFUL CHANGES Intensive farming Uncontrolled building construction

8 HARMFUL CHANGES Mining and cutting down Rubbish and waste
