Founded in 1962 2,500 students, including both campuses 4 year institution with 38 undergraduate and 7 graduate degree programs in Education, Nursing, Liberal Arts & Sciences, Business and Science and Mathematics collectively 500 Full Faculty and Staff

7 public apps 13 private apps 20 apps Highlighted apps are: Leave Balance – Staff Pay Stuff – Staff and Faculty Send Messages – Staff and Faculty Holds – ALL (Staff, Faculty and Students)

Understanding groups, roles, permissions, and my community Identifying applications for users: SSO vs. One-time sign-on myMessages / QuickLaunch Avoid duplication of web site content and dual updates Gathering requirements from campus stakeholders Internal group communication Single sign on application Sharing of information via communities

6 Implementation Strategy / Approach
Describe Implementation Process Found out what apps were already available Determine apps needed Provided the app team with the direct Banner, RSS and other related feeds Pay Stub and Leave Balance were the last apps built because of some challenges experienced

Provided available apps Integrated the feeds into the appropriate apps Consultation and Support Requirements from Member Determine apps, template, and theme Provided direct Banner, RSS feeds and other related feeds Tested the apps to ensure they worked properly

Permissions/Roles aligned with Banner Access Process automated Lesson Learned Ensure that all test feeds are updated before apps are moved into production Don’t publish an app if it is not ready Align timeline with app stores response time Have alternate solutions available to test

Upgrade to myCampus 7.1 Utilize QuickLaunch 2.0 and Smart Alerts Exploring a “Communities” app with app team Possible Financial Aid app integration

License Cost - $60,000 – Waived Off Implementation Cost - $40,000 – Waived Off Support and Maintenance - $9,500/Year
