Coach and Athlete Second year at Providence God & Family are what I value most Graduated from Asbury University Sport Management (Bachelors) Graduated from EKU Sport Administration (Masters)

5 Second Chance at Life June 28, 2014 I collapsed while running.
My heart stopped beating and for 20 minutes I was clinically dead. Bystanders performed CPR until the EMTs arrived. The EMTs got the paddles out and shocked me twice, bringing me back. 8 Morning Announcements
Report to Cafeteria Immediately get breakfast Get off phone when announcements begin Listen and don’t talk during announcements Clean up breakfast area and throw away trash

9 Lunch Procedures Be polite to cafeteria staff
Immediately get into line Stay in seat during lunch Use appropriate volume and language Clean up area and throw away lunch trash Do not leave cafeteria without permission

10 Classroom Procedures Quietly gather your materials: Folder, Paper, Pencil, etc. Read and begin the Prompt of the Day (POD) Process Points are to be set on top of the desk Cell Phones are to be put away and turned off

11 Cell Phones Cell phones are to be turned off and placed away when entering the classroom If you need for emergency, let me know Students who refuse to stay off their cellular device will hand over their phone for remainder of period

12 Behavior During Class Use Attending Skills (be in the moment, body language, etc.) Use 6 P’s Honor Tribal Rules Stay in seat during lesson Raise hand to ask questions No restroom request during teacher lecture

13 Student Wah-Space Each student’s seat, supplies and personal belongings are theirs Respect another student’s seat and space Before “borrowing” anything, you need to ask permission from that student Be polite and return borrowed items back to owner in good condition

14 What to Do With Your Belongings
All of your belongings should be placed inside the cubicle of your desk. Make sure nothing is in the aisles. For safety reasons, please DO NOT lean back in your chair!

15 Attending skills I will raise my hand and ask for attending skills
Students will stop what they are doing Students will turn toward speaker…. give appropriate eye contact and body language give attending skills remain quiet and respectful until speaker is finished ask questions to clarify and validate

16 Room Ambassador Greet guests who enter the room
Inform guests of what the class is working on and learning targets Show guests dignity and respect

17 Voluntary Focus If focus is deemed appropriate, student will wait patiently and quietly for myself or teaching partner to call Focus Room. Report immediately to Focus Room with signed note If Focus Room is unavailable, student and staff will have hallway conference to problem solve next steps.

18 Absent/ Tardy Absent: Tardy: Check Make-Up Folder
Complete work promptly Tardy: If the door is shut, you are tardy. Knock quietly to avoid a whole class distraction. Give note to me Begin working on the POD If you have missed bellwork, ask myself or a fellow student for instructions

19 Class Dismissal I will give a last 5 minute alert Put away materials
Clean area around your desk Reflect on daily learning via discussion or exit slip Leave the classroom when given permission from teacher
