5 MO&DA Expectations US committed to support Solar-B MO&DA
MO&DA budgets are adequate and competitive for extended mission phases Need to consider methods to minimize operation costs to increase science return on investment Questions to be finalized Data downlink Data distribution and archiving Operations Staffing Plans, near and long term Implementation of Coordinated Science Planning Near Term Activitites Define elements necessary to support EIC/MIC

6 Action Items MO&DA Team Explain in more detail the functions of the schedule coordinators and the members of the Solar-B team in establishing inputs into the monthly planning meeting. Define the distinction between observations and research topics in “fencing off” data. Quantify the personnel from each team and each country to support daily operations. Define the requirements for the level 0 reformatter and who should be responsible for the software. Increase the level of detailed requirements and interface definition for each of the operations software elements.

7 Action Items (2) Matsuzaki Can we schedule evening uplinks? Establish the time required to prepare the uplink once the OP/OG is formulated. Davis Define the concept proposed for the NASA GI/GO program
