Used with family and friends
Examples:

4. Types of diction: formal
Formal Diction- uses sophisticated, often technical language. Professional way of speaking or writing.
Used when giving a speech, presenting, etc.
Examples:
He is schizophrenic or insane.
The students’ need to develop a significant amount of mannerism
