What is the Water Cycle? The Water Cycle is how the water travel around the world. There are three steps of the water cycle, evaporation, condensation, precipitation and transpiration. These are the basic steps of the Water Cycle.

What is Evaporation? Evaporation happens when water is heated up. STEAM is created when water is heated over 100 degrees celsius. WATER VAPOUR is created when water is heated up below 100 degrees celsius.

Transpiration Transpiration is a form of evaporation, It happens when water in plants evaporate. (just like we sweat)

What is Condensation? Condensation is when water vapor/steam rises up to the air and hits the atmosphere, it cools and condenses and change into clouds that we see in the sky.

What is Precipitation? Precipitation happens when clouds carry too much water and it will rain, hail and snow.

What are clouds? Clouds are tiny water droplets grouped together. Some of it are made from ice crystals. The reason why clouds turn dark is that when it carries too much water droplets, its too thick for the sun to reflect on it, so it looks dark and gray.

Pop Quiz What is the difference between water vapor and steam?
