3 Aurora’s Adult Softball Program
League Rules can be found on look under softball. League Payments Paid in full – Discount If you are paid in full by March 3, $25 discount toward your league fees. Late payments Teams that do not have their fees paid in full by the 2nd Friday of the season will be removed from the schedule and forfeit all fees paid. Issues on the field Umpires will discuss all issues on the field with the Manager ONLY. Multiple player involvement could result in ejections or forfeited game. Line up Cards First & Last names need to be on the line up card. Umpires will return if not complete. Rosters All players must sign the team roster. Roster checks will happen during the season. Roster violations could result in an offensive ejection or a forfeit.

4 Aurora’s Adult Softball Program
Pitching Pitch height 6 foot minimum / 10 foot maximum, from the ground Pitcher must be in contact with the pitching rubber and pause for 1 second before delivering the pitch. After presenting the ball, the pitcher can only make 1 pumping motion. Contact with the pitching rubber must be maintained until the release of the ball. It is RECOMMENDED that pitchers wear protective equipment while pitching. Misconduct / Ejections Unsportsmanlike tension caused by verbally stating or acting in a manner that could endanger other players may receive an out, warning or ejection. Players arguing with umpires is not part of the game including ball & strikes. Repeated arguments will result in an ejection. Only manager’s can discuss issues with the umpire. Park Policies Consumption or possession of any alcoholic beverage is prohibited during any scheduled athletic event. Urination or defecation in other than designated restrooms is prohibited.

Weather Line – Located on Teamsideline.com and in the rules Weather Policy Our staff will monitor weather. When lightning is detected within 10 miles, play will be suspended. We use Weather Bug – Spark app. One field suspends play for weather, all fields in complex must suspends play and everyone must seek shelter in vehicles or as directed. Umpires will only suspend play, staff will advise everyone if we continue or cancel for the day. WE TAKE SAFETY SERIOUSLY!

6 Olympic Field 4 is under re - construction!
Under Construction Olympic Field 4 is under re - construction! Here’s what is being done: - New infield mix. - Laser grading of infield. - replace sod at lip. Other Olympic improvements: - rebuilt all batters boxes - replaced base markers - replaced all screen fabric - repaired fencing - added material all warning tracks - added infield mix to 1, 2, 3 Future improvements - Scoreboards on 1, 4 to be replaced / 2 & 3 replaced last year. - Changes to meeting area.

Paperwork Payment Roster Communication Complex Supervisor Umpires Office Staff Forfeits /Not enough players Player Code Of Conduct Your team Sportsmanship Most concerns happen when a team gets out of control. Keep your players & fans in the game. Special Requests Not all request can be met. After schedules are created, request are difficult to grant.

8 Team Management You are responsible for the control of your team – before, during and after your game. Alcohol is not allowed during athletic events per City policy. Dogs are better left at home on game night. Good discussions are great but arguments and fighting are not part of the game of softball. Keep an eye on children while they are in the park. Foul balls can come over the fence. If they bring the softballs back to the supervisor, they receive a reward!
