2. Each slide must contain :
Task 2: Create a teaching aid PowerPoint to teach people about the following Packaging materials:-
Paper/Cardboard
Ovenable paperboard
Plastic
Glass
Metal (including foil and cans)
Each slide must contain :
- The name of the packaging material
- 2 Advantages
- 2 Disadvantages
- A picture of a food product that could be packaged using this method.
(see following slide as an example)

3. Tetra packaging Advantages: Extends the shelf lie of products.
Maintains the nutritonal value.
Disadvantages:
Difficult to recycle as it is made up of layers of different materials (e.g. card, plastic, foil).
Costs more than having to recycle just one material to recycle.
There are few recycling centers that accept tetra so most end up in landfill.
