> Erasmus+ - best grant programme for study exchange and internships within Europe - maximum of 12 months per study phase - study: minimum of 3 months / internships: minimum of 2 months - fixed grant amounts linked to country of destination: from €150-€270 (study) to € (internships) per month - deadline mostly 1 March, but may vary per faculty > Erasmus+ outside Europe - for study exchange to pre-selected partners only - minimum stay of 90 days and maximum of 1 semester - monthly allowance of €650 and one-off reimbursement of travel expenses - general deadline 1 February, but may vary per faculty Erasmus+ and Holland Scholarship for non-EU study exchange, Thu 12 Oct, hrs, SP A01.09

> Radboud Max Planck Internships grants for Master’s students - internships at European Max Planck Institutes for selected Radboud Master’s programmes - minimum of 6 and max 12 months - grant of €500 per month (including Erasmus+ traineeship grant) - > Student Life Grants - Individual Travel Grant for study abroad project - grant for attending conference -

> ISEP exchange programme with the United States - standard costs for Nijmegen student approximately €3,500, incl. $425 application fee. Of course also additional personal costs apply - partly compensation: Individual Travel Grant (Nijmegen University Fund) of max. €1,200 - TOEFL test - motivation important but placement arranged centrally in US - application deadline once a year: see time table October information meeting (for participation in 2018/19) Studying in the USA: Wed 11 Oct, hrs, TvA > Fulbright grant for graduate study in US - external grant with application via Fulbright Center in your home country

> Holland Scholarship for exchange to selected worldwide partners - fulltime Bachelor’s or Master’s student - study exchange for at least 3 months and 15 ECs - grant of €1,250 (single payment) - general deadline 1 February (for study exchange the following academic year) - Erasmus+ and Holland Scholarship for non-EU study exchange, Thu 12 Oct, hrs, SP A01.09 > Honours Disciplinary Programme for Master’s students - grant for individual, ambitious international research project or internship: at least 10 weeks of research abroad and upon return 3 months to finish - end product (scientific article, essay, advisory) to be presented on final symposium - scholarship can amount up to €3, &

11 Practical issues - language preparation: Radboud In’To Languages offers students discount on courses - if possible, offer your student room for subrent e.g. through the International Office - preparations / arrangements for student accommodation abroad - insurance (travel, health, liability) valid for your destination? upgrade? - visa applicable?
