Max Planck Society is Germany’s most succesful research organisation. Since its establishment in 1948, no fewer than 18 Nobel laureates have emerged from the ranks of its scientists. Max Planck Institutes carry out basic research in the life and natural sciences, and the social and human sciences.

5 Radboud Max Planck Internships
100 places per year Minimum 6 months, up to 12 months All European Max Planck Institutes except for: Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics in Nijmegen Grant: 500 Euros per month Erasmus+ grant for traineeships Radboud Max Planck Internship grant Internship applications can be done whole year round It is recommended to start 6 months beforehand with your application Max Planck Institutes have the right to decline internship candidates

6 Application procedure
You approach the Radboud contact person of your study programme to express interest in an internship at a European Max Planck Institute (MPI) Via this contact person, the Verwaltungsleiter (head of administration) of the relevant MPI is contacted. He or she receives your internship proposal, which you have formulated with your supervisor. The proposal should include all information needed for the Erasmus+ Learning Agreement for Traineeships The Verwaltungsleiter of the Max Planck Institute approves or rejects your proposal If you are accepted at the MPI, you contact your faculty International Office to apply for an Erasmus+ / MPI grant. Preferably, at least 3 months before your departure The International Office of the faculty will nominate you for an Erasmus+ grant, including an additional Radboud Max Planck Internship grant

7 Erasmus+ procedure and documents
You can find the Erasmus+ procedure online: After your online application for an Erasmus+ grant, you will receive an with instructions and documents you need to take care of before your departure (e.g. Grant Agreement, Learning Agreement for Traineeship). Approximately 1 month before the end of your internship you will receive another with instructions and documents
