1 ML SERIES DC-DC CONVERTERS FOR RF COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT
The ML Series dual output DC-DC power converter platform is designed for RF communication equipment such as low noise amplifiers (LNA), receivers and Down Converters used onboard satellites. HOME PAGE DATASHEETS Advantages The ML Series features output sequencing, required by RF equipment, and isolated telemetry/telecommand not typically integrated into standard DC-DC converters. Other key design features of the rugged new converters include integrated input EMI filter compliant to most major satellite power buses and output voltage accuracy to ±2% end of life (EOL) by way of worst case analysis (WCA) The platform also offers extremely low output ripple/noise of less than 0.5Vrms (50Hz to 50MHz), excellent input to outputs CS rejection greater than 90dB, and input under voltage lockout (UVLO) with optional latching or with automatic restart. The ML series is a full-feature turn-key electronic power conditioner (EPC) ready for system use without the need for additional engineering resources. The new platform significantly reduces overall program cost and design effort for satellite manufacturers. PRESS RELEASE HI-RES GRAPHIC Features Integrated input EMI filter compliant to most major satellite power buses Guaranteed output voltage accuracy to ±2% end of life (EOL) by way of worst case analysis (WCA) Extremely low output ripple/noise <0.5Vrms (50Hz to 50MHz) Excellent input to output CS rejection > 90dB Input under voltage lockout (UVLO) with optional latching or with automatic restart Small size with open board construction: 50mm x 70mm x 17.8mm Low mass < 50 grams, typical July 2013
