Current largest customer segment: Women age 35 to 55.
Women control 80% of all consumer purchases at home.
Women consider corporate behavior far more than men do.
Women owned/run businesses have a far better position and understanding of women consumers.
The African-American market ($913 billion) and the Hispanic market ($951 billion) combined are larger than the entire economies of all but thirteen countries.
Product differentiation, brand equity and just being a good corporate citizen.

80 of the top 100 Fortune 500 have already had their Supplier Diversity initiatives nationally recognized.
WBENC Women’s Business Enterprise Council, 2012 Survey:
79% of female respondents would try a company’s product if they were aware of it’s women’s business development initiative.
51% of respondents said they would give such companies a second chance if they became dissatisfied with the product. 80 of the top 100 Fortune 500 have their Supplier Diversity initiatives nationally recognized.
