Participation is welcome, it will be stimulated and finally evaluated; Course structures: Lectures/seminars and Laboratories; Final exam: 50% written; 50% Laboratories; Suggested reading list;

8 Course organization The Laboratories
Presentation and discussion of papers; Each paper assigned is presented by one group and discussed by another group; 10 minutes presentation (max 8 slides) and 10 minutes discussion; Why using laboratories ?? Tomorrow we will define the groups!!!;

9 Course organization More on the Laboratories
Task of the group presenting the paper: - synthesise and tell the rest of the class: the main topic of the paper, the general framework of reference, the thesis proposed, the main arguments, the methodology, the main findings, your general view of the paper etc.; Task of the group discussing the paper: - discuss the paper by emphasising: major value of the paper (originality, clearness, rigour etc.), limitations, contribution to the literature, relevance of the topic analysed, usefulness to understand different cases etc.
