Debian Linux is an OS(Operating System) runs on compact flash card and provides some additional features more than TSLinux kernel.
TSLinux is a basic version of Linux for this embedded system. TS affirm that this basic Linux makes the system RTOS(Real Time Operating System)… ???
Software development process is mostly performed on any other Linux version. In this application RHEL(RetHat Enterprise Linux) have been used for software development for embedded side.

Serial2Ethernet or Ethernet2Serial converters are used frequently in many different application.
Converters made easy to control devices from remote control areas.
Real time applications requires two or more thread for processing I/O data. Multithreading supplies this features to many real time software project.
In this application, embedded system based converter has been implemented on TS7200 platform. This platform is too complex for this application. But source code is compatible with Linux kernel. So this system can be moved to any other platform at any time..
