HMH Financials 1st Quarter Financials Through October 2016 Total clinic revenue exceeded prior year by 70%, nearly double, exceeded budget by 21% All financial measures far exceeded those levels required by HMHD debt covenants Cash on hand was $5.0 mil, approx. 104 days Annual revenue exceeded prior year by 29%, exceeded budget by 24% Outpatient revenue exceeded prior year by 18%, OP revenue accounts for 78% of total revenue

Improve employee participation in employee survey from 0% in 2015 to 50% in by # of received surveys. -Utilizing 3rd party vendor ensures complete confidentiality -Employees receive a link to the survey by mail -Incentive to reach 50% participation - IPad giveaway Goal exceeded at 68% employee participation Marva Schilling was the winner of the IPad giveaway Totals Strongly Agree & Agree 2772 67% Totals Neutral 823 20% Totals Disagree & Strongly Disagree 545 13% Total Responses 4140

Employee/Physician Satisfaction Continued
CONCERNS SOLUTIONS Staff would like straight days/straight nights Conducting a survey of Nursing Concerns about recruitment of physicians for the Clinics Recently hired John Larrison and Heather Mitchell-Johnson. Employees feel there is a lack of communication , i.e. new hires etc. Message board installed near time clock. Need for more Nurses and Techs. On Nursing Floor Currently reviewing staffing Need for improved training We have an education Performance Improvement Team which will be reviewing Education requirements hospital wide. Marla is returning to the Education position and will be the leader of this team. Need for more employee recognition HR will be evaluating an Employee Recognition Program. No Cafeteria Tuesday’s – Deep South, Thursday’s – Tony Gunther, along with monthly Team MASH and Team Appreciation lunches. Shift Differential We increased the shift differential for those positions which work evening shifts. Cost of insurance is too high (see comparison graph)

WADI Breakfast With Santa
WADI Senior Nutrition Fundraiser December 3, 2016 8:00 am to 10:00 am Meals for adults will be $5.00 and children 12 and under will be $3.00 Save a $1.00 when you buy advance tickets from Hamilton Co. WADI, City Hall, U of I Extension, and Foxy. Help raise money for the Senior Nutrition Center while having breakfast with Santa! Great food, door prizes, and fun for all! HMHD will donate a basket door prize featuring lab work gift cards and other HMH goodies.

Hamilton County Junior High
Hamilton County Jr. High students were given t-shirts for perfect attendance prizes. Each quarter they hold drawings for a big giveaway to encourage perfect attendance all year long. Lilli Malone was the winner of the IPad Mini for the first quarter
