HOLD ON TO YOUR SHOES! THE BIG DOG RANCH RESCUE’S 3RD ANNUAL WINE WOMEN & SHOES EVENT IS TAKING OVER PALM BEACH Wine Women & Shoes is the brainchild of Napa Valley vintner, Elaine Honig. While chatting with a girlfriend about the growing popularity of wine and food pairing events, they jokingly said, “wine and shoe pairings would be a lot more fun!” And they were right. WW&S events are now in 60 cities across the country, and they have raised more than $32,0000. Join us! 3 SOARING TO NEW ‘SHOE’ HEIGHTS
At Big Dog Ranch we save doggie lives every day. But we wanted to share our most recent success story with you and tell you why we work so hard to save every single animal that comes our way. MEET SURVIVOR In his young 10 months of life, this little angel has been through so much.  When we first got him from Miami-Dade Animal Control we didn’t even know what kind of breed he was! It was difficult to know for sure because he had no hair. He was also severely underweight and cowered anytime anyone tried to pet him. The staff at Big Dog Ranch Rescue named him Survivor because they could see his will to live in his eyes, even though his poor body didn’t look like it could take anymore. His gentle demeanor and resilience touched the hearts of both staff and volunteers at the ranch. After a few days under the watchful eyes of the veterinarian staff, Survivor began to perk up, standing tall with his big ears pointing straight up. For the two months after his arrival, Survivor remained at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, recovering from his physical and mental neglect. He truly lived up to his name and showed an immense will to live. He now looks like this and has found a wonderful new family. They tell us Survivor has taught them how to love again. IT'S ABOUT SAVING ANIMALS. Our goal is to give the gift of life to as many dogs as humanly possible, enrich the lives of those who adopt them, and in doing so, help create a better world.  For more information, contact Emily Pantelides at (904) or CREATING A WIN WIN! Wine Women & Shoes fundraisers create an opportunity for partnerships between charities, wineries, shoe and accessory retailers, corporate sponsors and women in the community. In addition to raising money, these events raise awareness for charities, increase sales for wineries and retail partners, and provide community exposure for corporate sponsors.

The program book is distributed to all guest at the event. This book includes event details, sponsor recognition, BDRR information, paid advertisements, and live and silent auction item descriptions. Expected audience:350+ SAVE-THE-DATE A postcard formally announcing the event date and theme, as well as appropriate sponsors, will be distributed to targeted lists of donors, members, and previous WWS Supporters through print mail in (MONTH, YEAR). An electronic version will be distributed broadly via e-news to the BDRR membership base. Expected audience: 15,000+ Webpage The Wine Women & Shoes website will be updated with event and sponsor information and include links to appropriate sponsor webpages. It will also link back to BDRR webpage and online registration. INVITATION The full-color event invitation will be mailed to current sponsors, guests, targeted donors and supporters approximately 7-8 weeks before the event. The invitation will include recognition for appropriate sponsors and event details. An electronic version will be distributed broadly to the (CHAIRTY) membership base and the wider community. Expected audience: 10,000+ Social Media With an audience of over 5,000 spread across social media outlets, the BDRR will link guests/followers to our mission, our sponsors and their messages through dynamic, engaging and fabulous content. E-NEWSLETTERS Monthly e-newsletters will be sent to the entire network (15,000+) of BDRR members, donors, volunteers, and friends with the latest news on event updates, activities, promotions, and more. + MUCH MORE!
