1 My Francophone Country/Region
Major end of the year grade 9 project Mme Pushie ADJH

2 Project outline: Outline - You will research one French speaking country or region and create an online mini poster, brochure or google slides presentation (if you have something different you’d like to do speak with me). Each person needs a different region or country and the project is NOT in partners. This project is in English! Please remember to jot down all websites used and to put info in your own words. *Not Canada and not Canadian provinces*

3 Project requirements The name of your country or region in English and in French (the spelling is most likely different) Three different maps - one world map showing your country and the rest of the world and a map showing the countries surrounding your region or country and finally a map of your choice. Your region or country’s flag → coloured to show the country's colours.

4 Project requirements 4. Pictures and the names of two famous francophone people from your region or country or who lived in your country and why they're famous. 5. Pictures and descriptions of two famous attractions in your country. 6. Pictures and descriptions of two famous foods/drinks in your country.

The dialect of French spoken in your country or region. *This may be difficult to find and if you can’t find it you can substitute another piece of information for this one. 8. Provide the country’s top sport or pastime. Ex: Brazil is known for soccer and Canada is known for Hockey! 9. Provide 3 interesting facts about your country or region. 10. Include the link to a popular song from this country or region. (A youtube link is fine) OR A description of teh type pf music that is popular in your county or region.
