Town planning vision for ILC:Networking Town Planning  making the best use of the local environment and resources of Kitakami area, make a hometown of the world's cutting-edge scientific research switch the land use and make the new KITAKAMI MODEL research area, that each function - international scientific research, pioneer industry, good environmental residential area - cooperates mutually and forms a network □Main campus as the symbol of international research area Making the ILC main campus like a “town” which is opening to the public as a symbol of International Science and Technology Research area by locating the service system facilities in a mass. □Dispersion placement of the ILC-related facilities Providing an environment for the incubation of new industries, environment encouraging to all forms of industry-academia-government collaborations □House with the selectivity based on the needs of the resident  on campus, in local community, in city center, ... Local activation and reproduction by the organic general combination with ILC and the existing city area
