What does it mean to be “free in Christ”?

3. Freedom In Christ
Psalm 119:45 -- I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.

4. Luke 4: "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed…. (Isaiah 61:1)

Galatians 5:1, 13 --It was for freedom that Christ set us free ; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. … For you were called to freedom, brethren ; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

1 Peter 2:16 --Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God.

1 Corinthians 6: Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own ? 20 For you have been bought with a price : therefore glorify God in your body.

11. We Are Saved To Serve
1 Corinthians 4:1 --So then, men ought to regard us as servants of Christ and as those entrusted with the secret things of God.

13. Romans 6:16
