2 Learning to Meditate We sit up straight in our chair
We keep our feet firmly on the floor We begin to repeat our word Ma-ra-na-tha We do that from the start of the meditation to the end. When we get distracted by thoughts, we just let them go and we go back to repeating our word.

3 Learning to Meditate Meditation helps us to take time out.
It clears your mind and calms you. Meditation moves us into the more creative right-hand side of the brain. Meditation brings you to a place inside where you can be yourself. Meditation helps in other ways too.

4 Learning to Meditate It improves you attention
It makes you more confident, better able to do things.
