5 Literature Circle Roles:
Summarizer: Summarizes the assigned daily reading. Questioner/Discussion Director: Develops questions to keep the discussion going. Connector: Finds connections between your book and another text, yourself, or the world. Illustrator: Sketches and visual representation of the assigned reading. Vocabulary Enricher/Word Wizard: Find and explain unfamiliar or important words. Literary Luminary: Locate special sections or quotes in the text for group discussion. Travel Tracer (Optional): Keeping up with location/scenes within the books

6 Reflection Sheet: At the end of each assigned reading section, the group will complete a Group Meeting Reflection Sheet. This sheet will allow you to write about your group’s challenges and set goals to overcome the challenges for the next group meeting.

7 Reading Schedule: Group will decide their reading schedule/pages to read for each week. Start date: 8/29 End date: 9/28
