The subject and verb have to work together. They have to agree with each other!

4 If the subject of a sentence is singular we add +s to the verb.
That boy like s computer games. Except if the subject is the pronoun ‘I’ or ‘you’ then we don’t add s. I like computer games. You like computer games. If the subject of a sentence is plural we do not add +s to the verb. Boys like computer games.
