Anand Milk Union Limited is a milk product company based at Anand in Gujarat. Amul is the largest producer of milk products and milk in India. It was established in 1946. Product range of AMUL comprises of Cheese, Chocolate, Ghee, Flavoured milk, Milk powder, Shrikhand, Ice cream, Butter, Dahi and more such dairy products.

5 WHY AMUL IS SUCCESSFUL ?? Amul is co-operative unit, so it collects milk from farmer and process it and sell it to the parts of Gujarat this way Amul was started. People living in urban areas have found that some dairy mixes water or chemicals.so its quality is doubtable. But, the AMUL is giving the milk of farmer hence its pure and also its prices are same as other milk of diary.

9 AMUL SHOPs AMUL is co-operative unit hence its prices should not be high which cannot afford by a common people. To give more profit to farmers and good products to consumers at cheaper rate the have established AMUL SHOPS. People will get goods/products at cheaper rate if no wholesaler are involved. Also, all amul products will not be available at every place so AMUL SHOPS will have all the products of amul It will again create any great opportunity of employment at amul shops as seller.

10 ADVERTISEMENT AMUL does not believe to pay high charges to celebrities to promote there products. AMUL is co operative unit so it will not spend high amount for promotion because it will affect the expense and hence price may get affection , which they cannot able to afford. So looking at this they have to make people focus on there products to promote there products. They have used current affairs as a subject to have a focus of the people and also TV advertisement are also helpful to them. This creates a curiousity among people that what will be the next advertise.
