IS ONLY FOUND IN RED THE SIZE IS ONE FOOT LONG SMALL FOR A SQUID! THE WEIGHT IS STILL UNKNOWN.

5. Animal Interactions
THE VAMPIRE SQUID PROTECTS ITSELF BY TURNING INSIDE OUT TO AVOID THEIR ONE PREDATOR. THE SQUID TALKS AND COMMUNICATES BY SPRAYING A LINE OF MUCUS TO COMMUNICATE TO OTHERS.
The thorns of this particular squid protects itself, also by turning inside out.
