Tasks can be written, or varied to include
spoken work, eg. dubbing a section of film.
Students work in groups of 3 or 4. The group ‘manager’ visits the agency (teacher) to seek work. The group can choose the level of complexity they want from any given ‘contract’ (= sentence to be translated).
The teacher acts as the translation agency. ‘Contracts’ are reviewed and verbal formative feedback given. The level of payment for a ‘contract’ depends on the degree of success in delivering the contract.
