5 How often do you anticipate to use the space in 2017-18?
The majority of respondents schedule annual exams How frequently do you give exams? How often do you anticipate to use the space in ?

6 Most respondents need exam rooms in the middle of the week
What days of the week would you need to use the Library Commons for exams?

7 What days of the week would you need to use the Library Commons for exams?
4 10 respondents asked to use the lab Monday through Friday respondents only need one day for their exams

8 What time of day would you need to use the Library Commons for exams?

9 What time of day would you need to use the Library Commons for exams?
59% of respondents requested 4 or more time slots in a day

10 Most respondents have smaller class sizes with less than 40 students
What is the largest class that would be using the space?

11 Most will not need a proctor
Would you need the library to proctor the exam?

12 Both of our annual national exams have switched to computer based exams in recent years, and we know of no alternative to this space. This past year the exams have improved, and so it has been smooth to give the exams on your computers since all computers have the same software. Since I am no computer expert, if all test takers had to take exam on their own laptop[s gathered in a room, I can see huge problems trying to get the exams to work on a variety of laptops! This space and computers to give exams is crucial. Karen R. Ennis Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

13 We can provide our own proctoring, but it would be nice to have the option of that service being available. We also require onsite tech support during any exam periods. Matthew R. Hallman Anesthesiology

14 The maximum I would usually have at a time is approximately 20, could be 18, could be 22. I chose the student category but could have chosen the category as well. We are limited by how far in advance we can book space as we have to wait until national testing date windows are announced. The HSL staff has been wonderful to work with. Norma Jean Schwab Internal Medicine

15 Our specialty In-training exam is delivered on-line but must be proctored and that is done by department personnel. We also use the computers at different times throughout the year for department-sponsored events. Louena F. Goodwin Anesthesiology

16 The last two years, we had to move the date of our annual in-service exam as it was the same day as surgery exam and there was not enough space. And also, it was very expensive to have on a Saturday, so we moved the date for two reasons from our preferred date. Karen P. Barr Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

17 Fabulous idea! We would only need this twice a year, and it would be wonderful to have a designated space Alex Stroller Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition

18 We have an annual genetics in-service exam and Feb 2017 was the first time I used the computer lab for it (we had examines use personal laptops in the past). I hope to use the computer lab going forward as it provided computers with appropriate system requirements and a nice place for me to sit and proctor. Sara Jean Carlson Medical Genetics and Genomics

19 We use the room for two days annually
We use the room for two days annually. We usually proctor the exam, but it is good to know that the library could proctor it if we cannot. It would be great to know the cost of that, if any. Alison Wald Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases
