The first non-native Americans to travel to Oregon were the Fur Traders.
Pioneers traveled in wagon trains for safety and organization.

The types of people that traveled were families and Fur Trappers and traders.
Reason for traveling to Oregon Country was for fertile farmland and mild climate.
