3 Christians go to church and celebrate the resurrection of
Jesus Christ after the on the first day of his crucifixion. It‘s a public holiday.

4 The Holy Week includes Maundy Thursday, commemorating
Maundy and the Last Supper,[ as well as Good Friday, commemorating the crucifixion and the death of Jesus and Resrruection Sunday.

5 Easter is a moveable feast. It is celebrated on the first
Sunday after the first full moon in spring.

6 Customs Easter eggs are coloured

7 bushes and little trees are decorated with Easter eggs

9 Easter bunches are put in the rooms.

10 In some regions the fountains are decorated with Easter green and
Easter eggs.

11 Easterbread is baked.

12 Easter fires are burned to brin g light into the dark. The
light stands as a symbol for Jesus who brings light into the dark.

13 Easter bunny comes and hides presents and Easter eggs in the garden.

15 Then the children have to find the Easter eggs and
presents in the garden.

16 People wish each other „Frohe Ostern“ or „Happy Easter“.
