How do I study the notes?
Cover up the details.
Looking only at the main idea questions, recite the details aloud from memory without looking.
Uncover the details to see if you have learned the material or not.
Repeat as necessary.
Note taking is an important skill in learning by summarizing and repetition of important information and providing material to prepare for tests. The Cornell note system is an effective method for note taking in class or while reading a textbook. In the system main ideas and detail are captured and then questions and summary are drawn from the material.
